This artist book was created in conjunction with The Alchemy of Color exhibition, showcasing the works of Eva Lundsager, Patricia Sonnino, and Janine Wong. The exhibition united three artists whose practices converge in their exploration and juxtaposition of color.

Each artist contributed a catalog/zine that includes an essay by Yutong Shi, alongside a collaboration with a poet responding to their work. In addition, Janine Wong's artist book, also titled Alchemy of Color, features Sheryda Warrener’s poetic fragments and reflections on Wong’s series of prints, Recto Verso, delving into the theme of color.

The artist book itself is composed of the printing plates used to create the prints, structured as a sequenced color poem. It pairs fields of color with stanzas from Sheryda’s poem, inviting readers to engage with the transformative power of color in both visual and poetic forms.
